Upload Your Camera Phone Photos to Xdrive with ShoZu

Have you ever wished there was an easy way to get the pictures and videos from your mobile phone to your Xdrive account?

Up until today, getting mobile phone content to Xdrive has been a multi-step affair; send your photos/videos to yourself via email or a mobile-friendly media site, download them locally, then upload them to Xdrive through one of our clients. Not a terribly convenient way archive your media if you happen to be an active cell phone photog or videographer.

If this situation applies to you, we have great news today; Xdrive and our sister product, BlueString, have been added to the ever-growing catalog of sites and communities supported by ShoZu.

With ShoZu on your mobile phone, you can easily upload your camera phone photos and videos directly to your Xdrive account with either a one-click confirmation per asset, or automatically if you don't care to exercise any editorial control over which images/videos are uploaded.

In addition to Xdrive and BlueString, with Shozu you can also interact with your favorite social networks, your blog, any email address, and more.

Interested in taking ShoZu for a spin? You can find all of the details, installation instructions, and a feature tour at www.shozu.com/xdrive.

Welcome to Xdrive!

Hello and welcome to the Xdrive product blog!

Our aim with this blog is to provide users of the Xdrive product suite and the OpenXdrive API with news, updates, and 'coming soon' previews directly from the team that works on the products. Our contributing editor list is composed of technical, QA, project and product managers, as well as our system architect and overall business owner. We'll also be including the occasional article from our sister product, Bluestring, which was built using the OpenXdrive API.

If you're new Xdrive user and don't have a clear understanding of the feature set and functionality differences between each of our available clients, Google Alerts recently led me to an article by Michael Munchmore of PCMagazine that will certainly help you find the Xdrive flavor that best suits your needs. Michael reviewed the entire Xdrive product line, and provides a fairly detailed overview of the Xdrive experience from registration through product selection. You can find the full article here.

Please note, this blog is not intended to be a technical support resource. If you are in need of technical support, please refer to the support page of the main Xdrive site. Premium users, be sure to log in to see the full menu of available support options. Developers in need of support with OpenXdrive should direct their attention to the OpenXdrive Support Forum.
